Brick-breaker strategy guide

How to play Brickshift

Brickshift starts with the readable rhythm of a brick-breaker and adds a second responsibility: the wall itself can move. That means the best shot is not always the one directly above the paddle. Shifting the remaining bricks can open lanes, rescue awkward angles and turn defence into setup.

Objective

Clear the brick field while keeping the ball alive and using the shift meter to reshape difficult sections. Good runs balance paddle control with deliberate wall movement instead of treating shifting as an emergency button.

Controls

  • Move the paddle with Arrow keys or A/D.
  • Use Q and E, or the touch shift buttons, to move the remaining brick field.
  • Use Space or P to pause and R to restart the current stage.

Strategy tips

  • Watch the ball several collisions ahead; your paddle position determines the next angle, not just the save.
  • Save some shift meter for sparse late-stage bricks where a bad angle can waste several returns.
  • When a lane opens behind the wall, favour control over maximum paddle movement so the ball can stay in the productive channel.
