Accessibility

Xarmo is being rebuilt so its navigation and games are more usable across keyboard, touch, controller and assistive technologies.

Current improvements

• consistent primary and footer navigation;
• a skip-to-content link;
• keyboard-operable mobile navigation;
• visible focus indicators;
• reduced-motion support in the shared site shell;
• responsive legal and informational pages.

Known limitations

Several legacy games still have limited touch controls, fixed-size canvases, incomplete keyboard support or presentation that is not yet suitable for screen readers. These games are being replaced one at a time rather than described as fully accessible before the work is complete.

Game upgrade standard

Upgraded games will provide clear controls, touch-friendly targets, readable status information, non-colour-only cues, visual equivalents for important audio cues, reduced-motion behaviour and controller support where appropriate.
